Love for Cheyenne & Worldwide

Because Christ Jesus has set us free by the forgiveness of our sins, our freedom is meant to be used in service to our neighbors, beginning in our homes, our church, our neighborhoods, our country and the world. The good work that is done in those places is done unto our Lord. Those works do not always have to be attached to some “church” effort.

We actively support community organizations like Safehouse, Needs Inc., Comea Shelter, LifeChoice Pregnancy Center, the Home Away from Home project of Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, host the local Quilts of Valor group, and regularly participate in the Cheyenne Day of Giving.

Beyond Cheyenne we support orphanages in Russia through the work of Orphan Grain Train (from donations made during the Sunday Adult Bible Study). We also take special collections to help with disaster relief in areas across the United States. We also support efforts being made by our denomination at the Wind River Reservation.

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
